for me, pulseaudio was running wild and comsuming a lot of cpu --  
following Radek's advice and doing

killall pulse.sh
killall pulseaudio
. /opt/qtmoko/qpe.env
pulseaudio --system -D

stopped that and brought up pulse again with a more social behaviour and a  
far more snappy GUI.
not sure if that's still true for v50, though.
