indeed, it does not seem to do the same as its implementation in
measure_suspend and seems to directly echo mem >/sys/power/state
instead of doing pm-suspend (which would call a bounch of scripts,
and would influence things if you are debugging).

It is even available as a part of busybox (but not
available in debian builds)
