Hi,
I was stumbling about the above-mentioned branch:
So what is in there:
commit 5c778389608192845bfda8e3c152de497306f09d
Author: NeilBrown <neilb at suse.de>
Date: Fri May 17 16:38:18 2013 +1000
Omap clk hack.
Removing a warning about clock already in use.
A better fix is wanted upstream.

When testing with mainline which I even do not remember.
So after 5 years, I think we can drop it.
commit ba52ee5a43db90a11121d3f7ab8e91a6033157eb
Author: NeilBrown <neilb at suse.de>
Date: Wed Jan 16 17:10:56 2013 +1100
Enable SaveAndRestore for USB power domain
Maybe this will cause problems, maybe it will help...
Maybe or maybe not, I have to evaluate. But it belongs better to my
ehci-fixes branch since it is related to that and may influence other
patches there. I will add a revert there If I do not like it.
commit 4fac92e891a586262d22ce67ed01ddacee80300d
Author: H. Nikolaus Schaller <hns at goldelico.com>
Date: Wed Nov 8 09:40:13 2017 +0100
Kernel debugging: omap: print warning if CONFIG_DEBUG_LL is enabled
commit d2b310b0234c ("ARM: debug: Use generic 8250 debug_ll for omap2 and omap3/4/5 common uarts")
commit fc23beb8a577 ("ARM: debug: Use generic 8250 debug_ll for omap3/4/5")
switched to generic 8250 debug_ll code which seems to be incompatible
with at least OMAP5 boards (OMAP5EVM, Pyra) if CONFIG_DEBUG_LL is
still enabled in some legacy defconfig. Since this is very hard to
relate to these patches and difficult to identify, let's have the
compiler emit a warning.

Well, the only thing which belongs there, so imho, the branch should be cleaned up.
Regards,
Andreas
