Hm. I haven't experienced that yet. Is there any message
in dmesg? Usually there is one after waking up the panel.

Modem disabled (or in same default state) in case of 3.7 and 4.3 kernel.

Then reason is something else. See my mails about the thermometric
images. Some part of the twl4030 isn't shut down completely during suspend.
