Hi Radek, thank you for the reply!
Hi,
i'd try to follow README here [1].
[1] http://sourceforge.net/projects/qtmoko/files/GTA04/
I followed the readme and partitioned the card according to the correct
scheme, but when I inserted it into the GTA04 to do the mkfs changes and
mount, untar etc, the usb device wasn't recognized on my laptop and the
phone hangs on the Tux image.
So I reformatted the card again using makesd, and I have the same lack
of boot / aux menu problem.
Otherwise please tell us filesystem type of
p2 and contents of /boot (mmcblk0p1) - there must be uImage in root so that it
boots.
here are the filesystem types for the partitions:
gta04:~# df -T
Filesystem Type 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
rootfs auto 15249292 821932 13652732 6% /
tmpfs tmpfs 250312 0 250312 0% /lib/init/rw
udev tmpfs 10240 252 9988 3% /dev
tmpfs tmpfs 250312 4 250308 1% /dev/shm
tmpfs tmpfs 250312 8 250304 1% /tmp
tmpfs tmpfs 250312 0 250312 0% /var/lock
tmpfs tmpfs 250312 24 250288 1% /var/run
tmpfs tmpfs 250312 0 250312 0% /var/tmp
/dev/mmcblk0p1
vfat 64448 4013 60436 7% /boot
and contents of /boot:
gta04:~# ls /boot
MLO bootargs.scr splash.rgb16z u-boot.flash x-load.flash
boot.scr menu.rgb16z u-boot.bin uImage
