[Gta04-owner] Invitation to indicate interest in next batch of GTA04A5 boards

First, sorry for this long mail... it is just a bunch of marketing ideas.

I believe the drop of interest for A5 is because most of us already got A4
and does not feel the need for an upgrade.

I also believe a tablet would be nice.

Regarding crowdfounding, I believe huge conditionally promises can be
made.  E.g. if more than xxxx preorders, then yyyy will happen.  And small
ones, e.g. "donate xx and get it in a unique colour or donate yy and get
the pin/t-shirt".

But again, we need something people want.  I think a good aim is to create
an innovative, yet easy to use phone... or rather call it tool, while
understanding that only people with technical interests may be interested.
So from this it makes sense to ask: what do people who buy raspery pi
want?  What do home automation companies need?  What about selling this as
a next generation car alarm which reports the exact location of the car?
As a tablet, could it be the first RC car/helicopter controller with some
fancy functionality such as autopilot?  Or a controller for model trains?
What about lego mindstorm, the people who are active there spend huge
amounts of time and money...
Or what about an open universal remote control for anything, where the only
promise is that users will contribute and lots of proposals for
applications?

So many ideas, but so much work to implement it and our community is so
small.
Are there any other communities which it makes sense to join effort with?

In other words, what kind of marketing of the device could improve the
interests (when simply being a phone is not enough)?

Is it enough to simply make various communities know that this device can
be what they want/need?

Maybe some people want e.g. netflix on their TV set?  Then it can be
marketed as a "netflix TV" with the appropriate software.  I know netflix
is not open, but if it could stimulate the sales numbers, we would benefit.
