Thanks Christ and Nicholas for your quick replies.  I did do the baudrate fix a few weeks ago, and I believe my bluetooth was working after that - although I haven't yet used it for any real purpose.

It's probably a rootfs problem... so hopefully all will be working when I do a fresh install of a new SD card.

FWIW, what I'd like to get working is GPS export over Bluetooth.
