Then I guess it lacks dependencies to be enabled/disabled
because in the GTA04(3.4) kernel I have it's available with 
make ARCH=arm xconfig:
Media Controller API (EXPERIMENTAL) (MEDIA_CONTROLLER) is in 
Multimedia support (MEDIA_SUPPORT)

it could also be the path that isn't setup correctly...
Although it appeared green or something like that in n900's case if I
remember well.
I should retry to see what happens with the n900...
I'm not sure about the snow....

Also I'm very interested in making the camera work,I like gstreamer a
lot for instance, but I know the camera at userspace level only
unfortunately, also I think I'd better spend time on improving SHR or
Replicant...

Although my SHR builds with autorev enabled it's almost usable for
calls...(I've to wait for Simon Busch(morphis) to fix a bug with the
'Media' software sound control in the scenarios handling...).
It also needs to be tested more(I don't call people a lot nor receive
lots of calls...).
Now the stereoout and gsmhandset scenarios are complete, the forwarder
also works fine(100% CPU usage fixed, silent call after ringing fixed,it
needs more testing though).
