Hm. It appears that I have to realize that I will never learn to remember the
git syntax in this life. Maybe next life :)

So let me ask (again): what is the correct git command to update an existing
working tree to your latest work?

All I get from

git fetch gta04 && git reset --hard gta04/mainline

is
