Yes the Touchscreen in qtmoko works quite nice. 
I have never got tslib working with kernel 3.2. 
You seem to use the one from here:
http://lindi.iki.fi/lindi/tslib/
and not the one in standard debian.

That solves the problem and now if I'm using tslib from there, it works.
Is it somewhere documented?
