What will be definitly release as open source (don't ask which license
they will use) is the enyo framework is the one responsible for the user
interface of the applications itself. It makes it very easy to develop
application with JavaScript/HTML/CSS. The great thing about enyo is that
it is not bound to some other component but just a webkit browser. I
already have enyo running locally in a chromium browser and playing a
little bit with it. It should be very easy to adopt it for our needs
just to have a easy to use framework and create applications very, very
fast (take a look here:
https://developer.palm.com/content/api/dev-guide/enyo/tutorial/tutorial1.html).

Should be possible but more we can say only when the sources are available.
