[Gta04-owner] WebOS for GTA04?

Well,

right now I'm afraid there is nothing to do but wait.
Until now everything has been talk which we know is cheap.

The questions are:

1.) Which components will actually be released? It's unclear
whether this covers the tablet frameworks or also the smartphone frameworks.
It's also completely unclear (and – to be honest completely unlikely)
that they release everything that's necessary to build an installable and
working image from scratch.

2.) Will the tools be released? Palm used to use OpenEmbedded to build
WebOS, if they would release their patches to that including recipes,
we could easily recreate their builds (in theory... see above).

3.) _If_ they release a satisfying amount of UI code, is it written in a
modular way so that we can mix and match and e.g. strip out their middleware
(which only runs on the Pres) and substitute it with FSO (which covers many
more devices)?

Before these questions aren't answered, there's not much more to talk about in
my opinion.
