In the end it is about money for most (big/shareholder) companies.
Fairphones, OpenMokos and many other initiatives are needed, if only to keep the others honest.

Richard Stallman cannot retire just because using FLOSS is mainstream.

or, Fairphone is about a battle, not the war.
