I am very sorry that this did go wrong.

I had sent out a while ago an e-mail fixing the 25th and on 24th I did just send a reminder for "tomorrow".


What I did not take into account was a power failure of the server which did an automatic reboot afterwards.
And every now and then the qrunner processes of mailman are not (re)started automatically.

Andreas made me aware of this on Thursday so that I started the processes manually and indeed
a lot of pending mails were sent out.

Now, the next automatic tool did merge the reminder mail I received through the mailing list with the blind
copy I had sent to myself with the result that I wasn't aware that the reminder mail was sent again
and that it could lead to any confusion.

So sorry for all that automation :)

But as long as such things can happen we humans are still needed.

"Next time" was agreed by the participants on 25th to be in ca. 3 months, i.e. not before End of August...
