Hi,
I have received an BeagleY-AI today and baked an SD card (not
yet one with LetuxOS of course, but the Ubuntu-xfce image provided
by BeagleBoard.org).
Here is the first login (after providing a new password):
iMac:~ hns$ ssh debian at 192.168.6.2
Debian GNU/Linux 12
BeagleBoard.org Debian Bookworm Xfce Image 2024-06-19
Support: https://bbb.io/debian
default username is [debian] with a one time password of [temppwd]
debian at 192.168.6.2's password:

debian at BeagleBone:~$
So a first step will be to analyse how they boot the board
(obviously through U-Boot in the first paritition) and how
to build a kernel (obviuosly they use a lot of overlays).
BR,
Nikolaus
PS: the board gets quite hot even when idling: had 53°C after
ca. 5 minutes of first poweron... Well, it may draw upto 3A at 5V and
this energy must go somewhere.
