Hm. The af2ece0e31746f2c1a2cc513da54c8f9cee27042 just merges letux/tvfix-v3 which contains a single patch.
This should be a fix the video output driver, but I have never tested it.
So please can you try to git revert 01399e6be1eab63dbd1b9f1f653f74fc8beec8f2 instead of the merge?

This tries to fix the video out in a pandora-specific way. I.e. the GTA04 and other devices I am testing are doing it differently.
And I know that the DSS developers have reworked all the stuff behind video etc.
That is a good sign that you have narrowed it down.

I plan to update to 5.7-rc7 tomorrow and hope that I find a little time to test it on the Pandora (600MHz). What I observed is that it may take 2 minutes until the login: prompt on the console.
