most likely it is historic and was to document the old non-iio madc driver
which was used by generic-adc-battery initially.

Rebasing isn't harmful, more harmful is that it is merged into the Letux tree.

I have looked at the other letux/*bindings* branches and have added
to my ToDo list a note to check them as well.
