Yes and no...

Of course we are safe when we are now upgrading to 4.16.14.
But this might have been there starting from 4.16-rc1. So not fixed for several months.

And what I wonder is how much new bugs are in 4.17-rc1 and not fixed before 4.17.14?

Well, by investing more debugging time (unfortunatley I haven't at the moment),
we will finally find out if we have made the mistake in our Letux extensions
or if it is something in upstream.
