There appears to be code in the keyboard driver, but it may be broken - or there is different mapping of the Fn key on some machines.

Apparently limited enabled keycodes for 'extended' functions (keypad specific) like Home, End, PageUp, PageDown on Alpha 400 range hardware. Not sure a Kernel issue but scancodes not detected using normal routines. All 2.6 based installs of Debian - Lenny, Sid . . .
