- A2: first prototype (just 2 units with OMAP3530 built - did not work well, but was good for learning)

yes. Some have 512MB NAND and some 1GB NAND but all have 512MB RAM.

RAM is initialized by u-boot and it changes the DTB after loading
so that the kernel knows the real RAM size.
There was one prototype built with the same 512MB RAM + 1GB NAND and
that is what the omap3-gta04a5.dts is good for. It also contains
all other changes (sensors, wiring etc.).
omap3-gta04a5one.dts is indeed for the 1GB RAM + 512MB OneNAND
and just reconfigures the OneNAND interface. This is the chip
we purchased together with the Neo900 project. It seems to be
the same as the N9 has.
This chip is installed on all GTA04A5 which have been delivered.

Unfortunately, just a handful (I still have the plan to try to repair
the broken boards, but it is on low low priority and high high risk...)
But you can assume for sure that any A3/A4 has 512MB RAM and A5 has
1 GB RAM.
Hope this helps.
