Yes, the IrDA module is included. The ambient sensor is not, because it would require everybody to drill a hole into the case. But it is a through-hole component so it is much easier to solder in afterwards. But AFAIK nobody has used/done that with a GTA04A3 or GTA04A4 board.

Yes. They were seen as a potential feature of the GTA04 but it wasn't possible to get it in with the A3 and A4 variants. And we don't have got a better idea for the A5.

Well, the connector is also a space problem. And everyone must cut a hole into the case for it. So we would just replace a standard connector with a non-standard one and have space for neither.

For RS232 there is a trick: if you remove the internal GPS antenna module you can pass the RS232 cable through the GPS antenna hole into the battery bay and to the outside.

I think you have paid by credit card. There we have to capture it in the next days. But then it takes some time until your credit card bank takes it from your account (which is the "Credit" of a credit card). So this might need several weeks. I think our system generates a capture notice but I am not sure.
