[Gta04-owner] UMTS data connection problem

Hello!

I am having a problem with establishing a UMTS data-connection (voice
calls are working). It looks like a missing part in the connection
process of qtmoko (?) that is required by my provider.

The provider I would like to use is "bob.at". I enabled logging
(category "Modem AT Communication") and am seeing this:

The problem gets visible at "N : "_OWANCALL: 1, 3"". As far as I can
tell this means an error in establishing the connection.

The same SIM does work in a USB-Stick on my laptop.
A different SIM of another provider ("drei.at") in my gta04 does work as
well.

Can you give me any hints how to debug this "situation"?
I was thinking about booting to NAND to configure and use pppd. Is this
a good way to go? Any recipies w.r.t. pppd-configuration?

I am using qtmoko right now. Is SHR (or anything else) probably better
suited for finding a solution to this problem?
