Well I've just tried again from scratch with my script that uses 4.6,
and it was fine.  I've attached the script and the transcript, in case
you want to look in detail at how it's different from what you saw.

In any case, using 4.7 is fine too, in fact I assume better, so I'll now
move on to the version that you've committed.
