The TPS65950 allows to choose between
 25uA 150uA 500uA 1000uA

and will stop when the voltage gets to one of 
 2.5V 3.0V 3.1V 3.2V

These numbers can be set in the board file and are currently
	.bb_uvolt		= 3200000,
	.bb_uamp		= 150,

Where did you get the default of 0.5uA from?
