No. What I experience is this (having installed QtMoko armhf v52): When
I plug in a USB cable connected to a PC or to a charger the device
awakes from suspend (if suspended) and starts charging. To make this
charging visible, QtMoko takes a few seconds, so if the phone was
suspended I have to unlock it. Otherwise it re-suspends before the
battery-icon changes and the LED behind the power-button becomes red.

After that most of the time I lock the phone  to make it go to suspend
(in order to make as many precious electrons flow to the battery :-) ).
When the battery is full or when I pull the cable I see a wakeup from
suspend.
