With "too late" I mean it is too late to provide this information in
the process of finding the gta04. Not too late to tell it at all.

What I mean to say is that if someone is already on the gta04
page, he/she must have been directed to the page by this
information. Otherwise it is just another piece of letters that
nobody will recognize.

Note that web pages rareley become popular by new content
but by the links directing to a web page.

This means that this information must be placed and
distributed *outside* of the gta04 page. I.e. on many of
the million other pages that exist... E.g. fora and mailing lists,
blogs discussing these partially open devices.

This is IMHO a great text basis for a blog entry someone
should write and finally point out that and why the GTA04
is better.

And, if each time someone reads that some other device
or software is "open", registers for the forum and writes
a comment with a link to the blog linking to gta04...

That would be much more "viral marketing".
