Hi,
I experienced, that the rfkill identifier for wlan changes after each
supsend/resume cycle:
after boot, rfkill shows:
0: GPS: GPS
Soft blocked: yes
Hard blocked: no
3: hci0: Bluetooth
Soft blocked: yes
Hard blocked: no
4: hso-5: Wireless WAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
5: phy1: Wireless LAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
after suspend/resume:
0: GPS: GPS
Soft blocked: yes
Hard blocked: no
3: hci0: Bluetooth
Soft blocked: yes
Hard blocked: no
4: hso-5: Wireless WAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
6: phy2: Wireless LAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
after another cycle:
0: GPS: GPS
Soft blocked: yes
Hard blocked: no
3: hci0: Bluetooth
Soft blocked: yes
Hard blocked: no
4: hso-5: Wireless WAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
7: phy3: Wireless LAN
Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: no
Is this the intention or a bug?
Further it means, if you soft block wlan via rfkill, the block is removed
after resume, because there is a new device. Is this maybe a reason for heavy
power consumption after resume?
Rico
