[Gta04-owner] No modem under QtMoko

Hi there,

I seem to have a problem with my new GTA04 board. The Option modem
appears to be available under the default NAND Debian installation but not
under QtMoko.

In the NAND installation I've run the hw-test script and it reports that
the modem is present and functional. The modem appears in the output of
"lsusb". However I would note that the device hw-test reports as being the
modem, /dev/ttyHS3, does not exist. The output of the hw-test script is
attached.

I have tried QtMoko v48 and v50 and both obstinately report "No modem" on
the home screen. I have executed the /opt/qtmoko/bin/modem-poweron.sh
script numerous times and no modem has appeared.

The modem does not appear on any USB bus. The lsusb program is not
installed on QtMoko but the output of "ls /sys/bus/usb/devices -l" should
display it and doesn't. This output is attached.

I have also attached the kernel output under QtMoko.

If anybody could suggest a course of action it would be appreciated.

Regards,

Bob
