[Gta04-owner] Rainy Day Summer Activities: improvements for the GTA04...

For all those, who already have their GTA04 in their hands:

just in case you are looking to get ideas for rainy days during this summer,
you can help to improve the GTA04 to become the best open smartphone
we ever had.

I have listed some topics that are waiting for experiments and solutions (list
is not exhaustive and we all are open to new ideas):

* make 3D graphics acceleration work like it does on the BeagleBoard, OpenPandora
* camera driver (there is a partially working driver in the hw-validation kernel, but shows
   only noise and no image)
* experiment with the DSP built into the CPU chip
* add driver to enable/switch UART3 to IrDA mode
* further improvements on power management
* migrate more drivers/patches from hw-validation to kernel 3.x
* make the FM radio system work
* experiment with the RFID EEPROM chip
* add Kalman filters to GPS/Accelerometer/Gyroscope/Barometer for precision location tracking
* help on Replicant (100% free Android)
* help on SHR (adding, stabilizing, fixing packages)
* help on QtMoko
* start to port http://www.merproject.org/, http://plasma-active.org/, ...
