You may like to try other themes than the default "finxi" one.  For
example, MokoFaen has a thinner top bar.

Agreed, QtMoko's wifi setup screens are just crazy at the moment.  I'll
work on this eventually if no one else does it first - but I expect
there's a good bit of work to do first to understand why the screens are
currently arranged as they are.

Upstream NeronGPS has quite a bit of interesting-looking development -
including fullscreen - that hasn't yet been pulled into QtMoko.  Someone
might take a look at that...

What is the documentation like for that kind of activity?  (I don't know
because I work out anything I need by looking at the codebase.)

Why would this be in a .desktop file?  Surely you'd always want a
landscape keyboard if the screen is in landscape mode?
