Ok,
I have added such a detection [1]. It was completely missing and there
was just a 600/720 MHz detection for the OMAP3530. Well, it is based
on the Beagle Board code and there was no BB-XM with 800 MHz.

To check: install the new u-boot.bin [2] to SD (then you must press the AUX button
for boot from SD) or to NAND flash.

All GTA04A3 boards should report 800 MHz and some of the GTA04A4
boards or OpenPhoenux devices should report 1 GHz (serial number 0051 - 0080).

Maybe, such a detection can also be added to the kernel so that it shows
up in /proc/cpuinfo
