Maybe:
If you own a GTA02 (complete phone with case etc.) this is _probably_ the 
wrong mailing list.
GTA04 is a complete new hardware architecture (with old case but 
almost same software stack) and the gta04 mailing list is concentrating on 
rather the new hardware side currently.

Another place to ask would probably be:
community at lists.openmoko.org
or
devel at lists.openmoko.org

Many people share both lists, so chances are not bad to get help - 
unfortunately not from me...
