[Gta04-owner] Is it safe to play with NAND without AUX button?

Hi,
AUX button is now broken on my GTA04. It's not a big problem for me, since i 
will adapt QtMoko UI so that it's usable just with POWER button (and i have 
Freerunner with broken AUX too..)

But i wanted to install QtMoko in NAND and i read that if something goes wrong 
i need to be able to press AUX to recover from it. Is it true?

I think the information about how GTA04 boot could be explained a bit better. 
I can boot from serial and from SD card now. What is the boot priority? Is the 
serial boot the first? If yes then can i screw NAND and still repair it with 
serial boot?
