I remember that someone worked on Qt binding for oFono. I think it was
called ofono-qt. However the oFono D-Bus API is so simple, you most
likely can whip up something using QML really quickly. oFono handles all
nasty details for you and you just have to take care of the UI
presentation details.

Do you just care about Internet connectivity or also stuff like voice
calls, SMS, USSD etc. For just Internet connectivity, you can use
ConnMan which already ships with a plugin for oFono. And it seems that
FSO includes ConnMan support.
