If you find time for a bit of experimenting, it might be useful to know:

 - does it work if you boot with the USB cable plugged in?
if it does, does it keep working after 1, 2, 3 suspend cycles?
 - if you unplug and replug does it keep working?
 - if you unplug, suspend, resume, replug, does it work?
 - does it work if you boot without USB plugged in, then plug it in before
   any suspend?
What about if you plug it in after the first suspend (thus triggering a
   resume)?
How about after a suspend then resume?

It has always worked for me when I boot with USB plugged in (common case for
me), but occasionally not if I plug in at some later point. I haven't
narrowed down the exact circumstance yet.

Also: if you go back to gta04a3_defconfig but keep the same kernel otherwise,
does the behaviour change?

I'm guessing we are losing interrupts from the twl4030 again. It seems that
hacks and work-arounds aren't really enough (not surprising really).

Thanks,
NeilBrown
