So what Christoph is indicating is that we may have a solution: crossing
over the signals by wires. It is a little tricky to remove and rotate the
capacitors and solder two tiny wires. But it is possible.

After applying this hardware patch, GPS works fine. And I have
the impression that it even works a little better than a GTA02
sitting near it (but this is not an objective measurement).
For all those on preorders for the GTA04A4 boards:
we will either add these wires to the board in the factory. Or we use
a replacement chip that appears to have the switch control signal
inverted. Christoph just has found one and we are evaluating if
it is indeed 100% compatible in all other parameters.
So you don't have to care about this GPS discussion...
