We certainly could do that.

But I also wonder a little what really can be done through ssh.
It looks and feels like standard Debian run on a command line.

Maybe we should also set up a WebCam so that you can
see what is going on on the screen...

And, build a small robot arm to press the touchscreen and the
reset button, as well as replace the battery and any smoking
components :)

Even less harmful is the "halt" command. Unless we have the
above mentioned robot to press the power-on button :)
