Hi Nikolaus,

There might be an alternative way to get the money together for the GTA04 
project.
Could you start selling vouchers?
A voucher would cost 100 euro and would be valid for a year.
A voucher would give you a 100 euro discount if you buy a GTA04.

This could lower the bar for quiet a few people to get involved and would give 
you some extra funds to keep this project going.

I'll give some examples on how this might work out:

- Just 1 person (me) is buying a voucher
  no production will start and i will get my 100 euro back.

- over 2000 people buy a voucher. 
  Production can start and people can buy GTAs and redeem their vouchers.
  if all devices are sold, the people with still vallid vouchers can get there 
money back.

  if not all devices are sold, people will loose their 100 euro after a year 
and you can sell the remaining GTA04 at any price, they are already payed for.
 (and compenstate the voucher holders at ratio)

Think of the vouchers as a kind of micro credit

For me, and perhaps quiet a few people, spending near 500 euro's for a phone 
while i still have a good working GTA02, is not justifiable.
But "lending" a 100 euro towards this project, with little change of loosing 
the money seems like  a change worth taking for those with warm feelings about 
the openphone concept.

Do you think this can work?
