That looks to be ok.
Some more ideas for reasons:
1. minicom could be sending the wrong initialization to the adapter
2. the adapter driver could be broken and not run at 115200
3. the cable could be broken or have a short circuit to e.g. the RTS line
There could be another theoretical issue. Texas Instruments has
changed the specification of the RS232 chip (without changing
the chip). And according to the new spec we should operate the
chip at 25 degrees minimum if there is 1.8V I/O and 115200 bit/s.
But I have never seen this effect in real life.
To exclude it, you may wait a little until the board warms up and
try again.
