<div dir="ltr"><div>FWIW this happened to me a month ago or so; I've been too lazy to try to fix it, and instead just bought an extra battery and a wall battery charger [0].  The added bonus is that I can "recharge" the phone instantly by alternating batteries every day.  The downside, of course, is that USB tethering no longer works.<br>

</div>I will be in Vienna to visit the Linuxwochen and could resolder the<br>
socket onto the board (if the pads are still there) but since I do not<br>
know what usually breaks (solder joint, pcb-pad, ...) and how to open<br>
the device you probably need to assist me in these two points. Infos<br>
on both can probably be found on the Internet somewhere...<br>
