There are also some scripts which tryto automate this prosa description, but I am not sure if they represent the last attempt:

If I remember correctly, build failed because of two issues:
* mounting loopback multiple times didn't work properly on my host (an i386 Debian inside Virtual Box)
* the download of the required/assumed cross-gcc did not work (version is no longer available in embedian and I am not sure if/how it can be built from sources)
