ACK. If it weren’t for the pathetic speed back at the time, a lot of people
found the idea of the Python-written Openmoko framework in v1 appealing.
Editing directly on the device, with the effects immediately
in place while the OS is running had its merits.
It would be cool to do something like this again, now that almost 10 years
have passed and the (mobile) hardware is so much faster.
