Hi,

1) Using the hardware valdation image:

> You could repeat the factory test by using the hw-validation image ...

I used ssh in the already installed image in NAND using the following:

amixer set Earpiece 100%
amixer set 'Earpiece Mixer AudioL1' off
amixer set 'Earpiece Mixer AudioR1' off
amixer set 'Earpiece Mixer AudioL2' on
amixer set 'Earpiece Mixer Voice' off
amixer set HandsfreeL off
amixer set HandsfreeR off
aplay /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav

No error was given, but still no sound from the earpiece (and of course
no sound from the speaker here too).

aplay /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav shows:
  Playing WAVE '/usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav' : Signed 16
bit Little Endian, Rate 48000 Hz, Mono

2) Using QtMoko v52

>(a) use 'top', 'pstree' or 'ps' to see if pulseaudio appears to be
> running at all
It is running, top shows e. g.
3832 root 9 -11 77900 3112 2400 R 7.5 0.6 0:00.25 pulseaudio

>(b) do '/etc/init.d/sysklogd start' to enable logging, then look in
>/var/log/messages to see if there is any evidence of pulseaudio running
> and/or hitting a problem.

Here are error parts of the log (I deleted the time stamp and "neo
puls.sh:" at the begin of line):

Any idea what is going wrong here?
