I found this old email, although I'm not sure if that second statement
means that the nokia adapters that worked with gta02 now stopped working
with the gta04.

So you are rearranging them to the Nokia layout? It will be good to
document this well to avoid confusion.

GTA02 used Motorola compatible layout, so I bought three MP35A
2.5mm->3.5mm converters as documented at
http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Headset - so 1 for my main portable
headphones, 1 for car and 1 for portable speakers. This way I don't
have to do any extra plugging when using FreeRunner as my main ogg
The Nokia layout is probably more universal.
